St Lomans Mullingar 2.10 Coralstown Kinnegad 1.08

St Lomans recorded an important win in the league when they hosted Coralstown Kinnegad in Lakepoint Park on Tuesday evening last.

A bright start from the blues left them in a commanding position with two first half goals from Conan O Hara giving them the advantage. Conan added points to his name along with TJ Cox as first half points were exchanged. Some wonderful tackling from Enda Gaffney and a brave save from Dan Fitzsimons denied Kinnegad a goal.

Kinnegad raced out of the traps in the second half and a quick 1.02 levelled the game. St Lomans responded well and commanding second half displays most notably from Enda Gaffney and TJ Cox seen them regain their advantage. Daire Smyth got his name on the score sheet as St Lomans held on for a five-point win.

U14 Feile

Conditions were tough on Saturday morning as St Lomans took to the field in their first match of the 2018 Feile round robin against hosts Shandonagh. The lads put in a great performance to beat Shandonagh to set up a winner takes all game against Tyrrellspass. A goal late in the first half proved crucial as out the boys lost 1-04 v 0-03 to see Tyrrellspass progress to the Quarter Final.

Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner from the lotto draw on March 29^th. The numbers drawn were 6,12,13,18. Winners of €50 each were Richie Cleary, Declan Cox, Padraig Mooney and Gary Devine.

There was also no jackpot winner from lotto draw on April 5^th. The numbers drawn were 2,12,18,27. Winners of €50 each were Eamon Clinton, Peter Kelly, Kiera Cronin and Paul Devine. Next weeks jackpot will be €2,900!
